Maternal and Child Health Care Center Bhorugram:
Providing promotive, preventive and curative health services through a well-equipped (X-ray, Operation Theater and Laboratory) 10-bedded hospital to the population of 10 nearby villages around Bhorugram. Regular camps are organized for Tuberculosis, Cataract operations, ENT and Family Welfare activities.

Mother NGO Program:
The Trust is also acting as a Mother NGO for the Reproductive and Child Health (RCH) program of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, New Delhi for 5 districts (Churu, Sikar, Jhunjhunu, Sriganganagar and Hanumangarh) of Rajasthan. The aim of this program is to reduce the maternal and child death rate, improvement in health services, population control and reduction in sexually transmitted diseases. Our role as a mother NGO is capacity building and empowerment of grassroot level NGOs.

HIV/ AIDS Awareness Program:
Implementing HIV/AIDS awareness, prevention and control program in the villages of Churu and Sikar districts for rural migrants, in collaboration with ICHAP and other partner NGOs.

Similarly, School AIDS Education program is also being implemented in the Rajgarh and Churu blocks with the help of Rajasthan State AIDS Control Society (RSACS).

We had successfully implemented the following projects:

A Comprehensive Rural Health Development Project
(under PVOH-II) was implemented to provide medical and health services to a population of 50,000 spread over 40 villages of Rajgarh block with the support of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, New Delhi (1992-97). Health services were provided through a three-tier system (Village Female Health Worker, Mobile Medical Unit and Base Hospital). This program has substantially improved the immunization coverage in the target villages. The immunization coverage improved from 26.8% to 79.4% for DPT; 16.8% to 55.7% for measles, 36.8% to 94.7% for Polio and 27.5% to 62.6% for BCG. The TT immunization coverage of pregnant mothers increased from33.3% to 54.7%. This program was also a catalyst for increasing the health awareness in the villages for mother and child health.

Implemented Reproductive and Child Health program in 50 villages of Taranagar block with the support of Population Foundation of India (2002-04). Capacity building of Female Health Workers, Dais (Traditional Birth Attendants) and the village health service providers was undertaken.

Capacity building training and workshops were organised (2001-2003) for the Rural Health Providers and Dais with the support of Sir Ratan Tata Trust.

Implemented Mother NGO program for IEC scheme of Indian System of Medicine and Homeopathy (ISM&H) for 5 districts (Churu, Sikar, Jhunjhunu, Sri Ganganagar and Hanumangarh) of Rajasthan supported by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, New Delhi.
